Every session is run and edited by the same in-house team, so there’s one point of contact from booking through to delivery rather than a photographer, a separate editor, and a separate account manager.
Before the shoot, we confirm background, framing and the general look you’re after, so every headshot in a group session matches instead of looking like separate appointments stitched together. Sessions run either in Arvo’s Banyo studio or on location at your office, whichever suits your team, with direction throughout for people who don’t have “get photographed for a living” as part of their job. Each image is reviewed and lightly retouched afterwards, then delivered as high-resolution digital files, ready to drop straight into a website, LinkedIn profile, or team page, within two weeks of the shoot.
A specialist photographer can shoot a good headshot. What they generally can’t do is take that headshot and turn it straight into a new team page, a refreshed brand identity, or a set of social assets that match your existing site. Arvo can, because it’s the same team doing both. Session length is usually worked out as part of your quote, since it depends on group size and how many looks or setups you need. If you’d rather book a set block of time, ask about our half-day and full-day session packages.
Solid colours photograph better than busy patterns or fine stripes, which can distort under studio lighting. Avoid stark white or all-black if possible, and if the team wants two looks per person, bring a backup outfit to change into partway through.
You’ll have your final images within two weeks of the shoot, often sooner for smaller sessions.
